I would like to start a petition to protect children against neglect while being in child care/ daycare facilities and to enforce tougher laws when a child has been neglected both by The child care facility owners and the people whom they employ in such facilities I wanna not only see employees being healt responsible for their actions or lack of actions but I also wanna see owners being held responsible for their actions or lack of actions I also wanna see laws implemented that protect children from being told not to tell when a incident occurs within or outside of a childcare facility and laws against a child being paid money or bribed into not telling their parents or anyone outside of the daycare facility I wanna see a law that prohibits any staff in a daycare center from giving gifts to children like candy money chips juice etc without the direct consent from a legal guardian and I would like for that consent to be in the form of a signed permission slip from the child's parent/parents This way children wont be bribed I also dont want a staff member at a daycare facility to be able to talk to a child in private without another adult present so that they cant tell a child to keep secrets without any other employee knowing about it I dont want any adult teaching a child not to tell I think that if these suggestions are put into action it could force daycare centers to be healt accountable in every way possible when such things occurs in their facilities I think this will help children of this community to not be afraid to speak up when something's wrong without feeling guilty and it will help my family feel more at ease when we put our love ones in the hands and care of a childcare facility I would also like to see childcare facilities doors closed for good under any or all of these situations My beautiful 4 year old granddaughter Makyia Artis was left on a daycare van for 9hrs in the cold No food No blanket No heat all alone at living waters daycare center in Rochester NY This is for Awareness and justice for Mykyia
