Can we get the NYC DOT mark lines the proper distance from fire hydrants so it’s clear if a car is parked legally? 

Have you ever spent 2 hours looking for a parking spot around your house in Brooklyn and the only space you could find was MAYBE too close to a fire hydrant and you were too worried to risk it? Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a simple line marking the proper distance so you know if you’re safe to park there?
