It’s getting real out there everyone!
With only 1 week left, now is the time to push for as many signatures as possible.
We CANNOT let the city say no to the remote learning option! This is not one of those asks that a reasonable person can say no to.
It is rooted in logic and common sense.
We know that whether someone shows signs of being infected or not, vaccinated or unvaccinated that the virus will continue to spread in a room and without children being properly spaced out this will only result in an unfortunate situation.
Consider this also, adults and children will have a hard time keeping a mask on all day and it really is too much to ask of someone to keep their mask on all day long without a mishap or two…or three…or more.
The problem is, even the slightest mishap can result in a disaster. Take for instance in Marin County California where a teacher took her mask off to read to her class and as a result, infected over half her kids.
Feel free to read about it here:

Honestly whether someone is showing signs of being infected or not, the virus will spread especially if the spacing is poor and people are not masked.
With 1 week to go, let’s all continue to bring the point home about the remote learning option and continue to get more of our family & friends to sign!
We need you to sign! This is a reasonable ask of our city and something we MUST HAVE for the ongoing school year for EVERY NYC STUDENT!
There are kids that must have go into the school building and they must have the conditions that will give them the best chance to be safe which is adequate spacing in a classroom.
Families that have the resources to have their kids learn from home must be allowed to choose the remote learning option.
Time is running out! NYC families, we have a giant train barreling towards us and we must act now and make our voices heard! Please support the remote learning option!
