A popular excuse against remote learning you'll hear from politicians and news sources is that the school building is the safest place for kids to be.  However, look at all the school closings & quarantines all across the country and you'll know that just isn't the case.

If a school building is such a safe place, why not send everyone to the school buildings just like they use to when NYC school buildings were used as substitute bomb shelter during the height of the cold war?  Just kidding of course but you get the point.
