Every state and territory in Australia, except NSW, gives motorists the opportunity to purchase personalised number plates with a one off fee.

Each year, NSW motorists are slugged with high personalised number plate fees, leading to motorists being charged more for personalised plates than the actual cost of registration.

$111 to $474 per year is too much, whilst other states and territories can purchase the same want outright. It doesn't sound like much cost, but it all adds up when we receive the yearly rego renewal papers.

Service NSW receives more than enough from infringement revenue, there's no reason why NSW motorists should have to keep paying yearly fees, sign the petition to make the change!
