The Kaden Centre provides targeted exercise programs for people who are undergoing cancer treatment, recovering from cancer treatment or living with the effects of cancer treatment. All this is provided in a supportive atmosphere with a strong sense of community. This is the first and only centre of its kind in Australia. Patients who attend the centre report better mental health, fewer side effects from treatments and medications and faster recovery from treatments. Funding issues is causing the centre to close leaving patients no options for alternative programs as they don't exist.
