Up-PES Joseph Schooling

The Issue

There has been rumours of Joseph Schooling, a Singaporean swimmer who won the gold medal in the 100m butterfly at the 2016 Olympics, to be getting PES C upon serving his National Service in Singapore.

The reason for this is because the government wishes not to give any chance to have him injured in his service, hence the downgraded PES.

This is unfair for those who have higher PES than him (PES B and above), who have to respond to the call of duty.

Do we actually have to do something meaningful, that will uplift Singapore's reputation, to be granted an easier life in National Service?
