The problem of illegal immigrants is immense, the US being a developed country faces it, India being a developing country has no financial bandwidth to deal with it. 

India is a secular but a Hindu nation. However, it is surrounded by predominantly Islamic countries, which are unfortunately not as developed as India. So, India is an automatic attraction for citizens of these countries. With a very porous border, they have come in hordes and by some estimation constitute around 8-10% of Indian population. May are involved in committing crime and cause the indian tax payers huge money as the Govt has to bear the stress on Indian infrastructure because of the presence of such a large number of people who do not add any value to the society, except for nuisance, violence against women and many a crimes.

while on the face of it it may sound in secular, it really is not. India has the right to fix the problem it has so endured for such along time. I urge all people of indian origin to support this initiative by the Govt. There is always some collateral damage, let us minimise it but resolve to help this Govt fix this problem once and for all.
