Now that you own Citibank, Contact Shareholder Relations!
Congratulations, you own a gigantic multi-national bank! 36% of Citigroup--one of the leading financers of dirty coal--is now owned by the American public.
Now that you're an owner you can write to the bank's Shareholder Relations department and tell them to stop funding the expansion of coal.
On April 20, Citi hosted its annual shareholders meeting, but the company forgot to invite you and the rest of its newest owners.
So send a letter to Shareholder Relations today and tell them know that thousands of its newest owners want a real voice and don't want any more investment in dirty coal.

I'm a new shareholder and I demand action!
As a U.S. taxpayer, one of Citi's newest owners, I was disappointed to learn that you forgot to invite me to your annual shareholders meeting today in New York.
I hope that in the future you will not overlook the fact that 36% of your bank is now owned by the public.
In the meantime, I would like to share the comments I would have made if you had invited me to today's meeting.
First and foremost, Citi must stop its destructive investments in dirty energy, including new coal fired power plants and companies that engage in mountaintop-removal coal mining immediately.
As a shareholder, I also demand that Citi adopt a comprehensive climate policy that shifts Citi's investments away from our dirty energy past and toward a renewable energy future as quickly as possible.
The era of unaccountable and destructive lending and investment practices at Citi needs to end now.
Sincerely,
