Stop Truro, Nova Scotia's Municipal Deer Hunt From Happening

The Issue

A Nova Scotia town is days away from what it considers the first municipal deer hunt in the country.

Truro will bring in four hunters with crossbows to kill 20 female deer to "deal" with a deer population that it says has become unmanageable.

This is definitely not needed and there are other, more humane ways of dealing with this situation. Yes, this is probably the most "cost efficient" way, but if a little money was invested, the government could have the deer tranquilized and moved to a better area for them.
