Every year thousands of Yellow and White Pages phone books are delivered to Australian residents, whether we want them or not. Most find their way from doorstep to the recycling bin.

The production, delivery and disposal of unwanted phone books harms our environment and burdens our waste management systems costing taxpayers.

It's time Sensis, the company responsible for the Yellow and White Pages, recognise that phone books no longer meet our environmental and business needs of the 21st century. 

On the Sensis website under the "Future of Books" section they state "Bottom line - as long as there's strong demand for the Yellow Pages and White Pages books, we'll keep printing them."

So join your neighbours and tell Sensis Pty Ltd we're #nothappyjan and that there is a strong demand to only deliver phone books to people who request a copy.

Together we can stop these unwanted phone book deliveries.
