Norwich Public Schools' students, teachers and staff deserve better!

Since her contract began in July of 2019, Kristen Stringfellow has run our schools into the ground. She has drastically cut staff to dangerously low levels, forced students to change schools needlessly, run good teachers and administrators out of town and covered up violence taking place within the school walls and on buses.

Parents have been left in the dark- we aren't allowed inside buildings to know what environment our children are learning in, we aren't given any communication from the school about safety issues our children are faced with everyday and we are ignored by Mrs. Stringfellow when concerns are brought up. 

We have lost our amazing principals, staff and teachers due to her leadership. Our schools in some cases have no math, history and language arts teachers! The principals that she has placed in positions are underqualified and ill-prepared.

Recently, a specific, serious incident (assault) happened in a school in which a beloved staff member was injured. The school administration and Mrs. Stringfellow ignored procedure and failed an entire school and community. Mrs. Stringfellow proceeded to lie about it to the newspaper, and more importantly, said it never happened at all. 

We MUST take a stand and DEMAND that our Board of Education members immediately terminate the contract of Mrs. Kristen Stringfellow and replace her with a qualified, ethical candidate. 

Mrs. Stringfellow was UNDER INVESTIGATION by her previous district when she was hired. Her behavior has been unethical, immoral and sub-par, at best. Our Board of Education failed the school system and cannot be allowed to fail us again by ignoring the will of the city's parents and students.
