Local swimming pool in Salluit, Nunavik is being closed and out of service for more than 2 years.

There is an important part of the population asking to repair it and to reopen.

Here there is not enough infrastructure to do inside activities for the youth and the rest of the population, specially during winter time (which is more than 6 month).

We could talk about being one of the rarest village with the biggest swimming pool in the fourteen villages from Nunavik.

In the past, this swimming pool provide therapy for disability. It was a place to gathering to celebrate life (birthday party, fitness condition, etc.)
