Despite their assertions to the contrary, Chick-fil-A has actively supported organizations that work against LGBT rights, including the Family Research Council, Focus on the Family, and Exodus International (which attempts to "fix" gay behavior).

Northeastern University recently announced that it would host a Chick-fil-A in the Curry Student Center, giving its tacit approval to the fast food chain's policies by letting Chick-fil-A market and sell to some of the very students and customers they seek to "fix".

Northeastern must not be in the business of choosing a few bucks over respect for parts of its own community. Allowing Chick-fil-A to operate on campus would be an insult to the LGBT students, faculty, staff and supporters that help make Northeastern such a great school.

I ask that Northeastern reverse its decision to allow Chick-fil-A to operate on campus, and to select an alternative food vendor for the Curry Student Center.
