When our study abroad plans were canceled due to an unforeseen pandemic, we were left to choose how would we approach the semester academically, and many of us chose NUStart for various reasons. As a result, we were all placed into the same courses as students who were not apart of NUin. However, in spite of the fact that we are taking the same coursework as others we have been informed that our grades for this semester will have no impact on our undergraduate GPA. To some this is great news, but to others who have sacrificed time and effort in order to succeed we are frustrated. We ask that us students be given the option to count our GPA from the 2020 fall semester for classes that have been offered to both NUin and non NUin students.
