I have had enough of Northamptonshire County Council's incompetence impacting on the public in Northamptonshire - they go bankrupt - they raise council tax by 5%. They shut down or reduce local services to save a few pennies and now they want to reduce benefits for the disabled and increase the amount the elderly pays for care? I'm sorry but when are these self serving councillors going to take some of the impact?

I'm calling on our government to impose salary and bonus/benefit cuts to all councillors responsible for this mess - in any other line of work you'd be sacked for such negligent spending resulting in bankruptcy! It's time the councillors started chipping in too! 

It shouldn't all fall to the working and middle  class to pull Northamptonshire out of this mess the people who created it should be making the bigger financial sacrifices.
