Keep TRUCKS off RESIDENTIAL WARD 3 Streets Northampton

Keep TRUCKS off RESIDENTIAL WARD 3 Streets Northampton
Why this petition matters

The Ward 3 Neighborhood is demanding The City of Northampton Planning Board refuse to approve Cola-Cola’s request for to expand its parking area to hold 12 additional trucks on its property until Coca-Cola works with the City of Northampton to achieve the following steps toward stopping the already existing truck traffic concerns on Day Ave, Lincoln Ave, Elizabeth St, Orchard St, North St and Bates St.
WE ASK THAT COCA-COLA AND THE CITY OF NORTHAMPTON...
1.Secure a Heavy Commercial Vehicle Exclusion,
2.Install Signage to reflect it,
3. Demonstrate regular effort to Enforce it,
4.Sustain 6 months of Truck Traffic Reduction
....BEFORE Northampton Consider Coca-Cola's parking expansion permit.
It would be outright negligence for the City of Northampton to allow Coca-Cola to expand its truck parking area before they both had worked together to manage a decade old problem of Commercial Trucks improperly abusing residential streets for daily business.
