I wrote the NTTA on Thursday April 9, 2020 and asked if they had planned to stop charging tolls for all their tollways in TEXAS until the Governor opens up all businesses again. My question was because the only people using these tollways are essential workers and those Texas citizens who have to go to hospitals, grocery stores and medical appointments. We have seen companies from car manufactures, banks, credit card companies and insurance agencies refund and or stop collecting payments until May and might extend that deadline if America is NOT allowed to go back to work. So WHY isn't the NTTA doing the same. They generate hundreds of thousand of dollars weekly from Texans, so this should not be an issue.

I am asking you to sign this petition if you agree and want the NTTA to stop charging tolls until at least May 15, 2020 in hopes that Texans can work again.

Their reply to my e-mail on April 13, 2020 was "we have no plans to stop charging tolls on Texas tollways at this time".

With enough signatures I can take this to my contacts at WFFA channel 8, KISS FM, and KTVT channel 11.
