One unit within 4 in a block style housing in Glenboig, is temporary housing (scatter flat). This needs to be turned back into a permanent council home. There are 3 children 10 and under within the houses in the same block and many in the neighbouring houses.

One tenant was removed by police due to fears for his safety when his sex offenses were unveiled. Disgusting he was put around families and with shared garden access with 2 kids.

More recently had a couple just released from prison with a violent and volatile history who we have been assured are getting moved TODAY! They had been fighting night and day, screaming in the garden and the street. Shouting about stabbing and drugs. This was a great worry adults never mind the concern of many of the children who witnessed this.

This cannot keep happening, we understand people fall on hard times and have the right to homes but WE have the right to feel safe with our families too. This scatter flat is in the wrong location and needs put back to permanent accommodation.

We as a neighbourhood cannot live in fear with anxiety of what the next tenant are going to bring!!
