Keep the Alamance NC Confederate Monument.

Keep the Alamance NC Confederate Monument.

The Issue

The Memorial to fallen Confederate soldiers was dedicated in 1914 in the city of Graham NC.  It has stood for more than a century as a tribute to the men who took up arms in service to their country.  Let us not remove historical markers memorializing their efforts to protect their homeland against a far superior force.  This monument serves to forever remember the brave soldiers many of who left home never to return.  The sons, brothers and fathers who were buried on the battlefield.
According to federal law, members of the the Confederate military are recognized as Veterans of the United States.  It is against federal and NC state law to remove Veterans monuments.  Show your support.
