To San Francisco City Supervisors  Aaron Peskin, Norman Yee, Rafael Mandelman, Ahsha Safai, Catherine Stefani, and Hillary Ronen 

We urge you to join your colleagues Shamann Walton, Gordon Mar, Dean Preston, Matt Haney, and Sandra Lee Fewer in supporting the allocation of $2.7 million from the city’s $12.26 billion budget to City College of San Francisco.

This money will serve as bridge funding to restore the Spring/Summer 2020 classes that were shamefully and deceptively cut in a midnight massacre by Chancellor Mark Rocha – without consulting, or receiving input from department chairs, faculty, or students.

This supplementary allocation will help stabilize the college while other long term funding legislation is initiated.

Please publicly sign on to the ordinance 191261[i] during the Board of Supervisors meeting on 12/17/19.
