In 1966 the Southern Railway created something that would change the Future of Steam Railroading, the southern railway started the Southern Steam program, With a large fleet of steam locomotives they hauled passengers until 1982 when Norfolk & Western, and Southern Railway, merged to make Norfolk Southern, from 1982-1994 The Norfolk Southern Carried out the Steam Program amazingly. in 2011-2015, Norfolk Southern created they're "21st Century Steam Program" Which was very popular due to the Restoration of the last Surviving N&W J #611. Since then Norfolk Southern hasnt ran any steam excursions for the program. And this Petition is to Change that.
