Le Pinard Trail de Montferrier-sur-Lez est une véritable institution dans le monde du BMX trail en Europe, Depuis plus de 30 ans, ce spot a été façonné à la main par un groupe de passionnés, construisant bien plus qu’un simple terrain pour le sport. Ce site représente un morceau d’histoire, un lieu de rassemblement où la passion pour le BMX trail dans un environnement naturel, attire et réunis des riders et enthousiastes de toute l'Europe et pays internationaux, C’est un endroit où se créent des souvenirs, se tissent des amitiés et des valeurs. 

Malheureusement, ce symbole de communauté et d’engagement est aujourd'hui sous la menace de destruction par la DREAL de Montpellier. La décision de raser cet espace précieux, sans même envisager un dialogue ouvert avec les personnes impliquées,  il serait une immense perte pour le patrimoine sportif et culturel de la région. Nous croyons fermement qu'une discussion constructive pourrait mener à une solution qui garantirait la pérennité de cet espace exceptionnel. Sa destruction ne respecterait en aucun cas les politiques écologiques et environnementales émise par la DREAL au maintiens favorable de la préservation de la faune et de la flore présente sur le site.

La fermeture du Pinard Trail ne signifie pas seulement la fin d'un parcours, mais également la disparition d'un lieu inestimable de coopération et de créativité pour plusieurs générations à travers le temps. Le Pinard Trail est l’un des cinq derniers spots existant en France, et sa perte représenterait non seulement un appauvrissement de la scène BMX nationale, mais aussi une atteinte au patrimoine soortif culturel et local qui a traversé le temps. 

Le collectif du Pinard Trail, demandons l'ouverture immédiate d'un dialogue avec les autorités compétentes avant toute décision irrévocable de destruction. Également en contact avec la commune et le CEN occitanie, Nous aspirons à collaborer, pour trouver une solution durable qui préserverait ce site cher à un grand nombre de personnes.

En résumé, le Pinard Trail n'est pas seulement un ensemble de pistes et de bosses en terre mais une communauté,  un creuser de culture sportive,  un symbole de passion partagée, proche et respectueuse de la nature. Unfortunately, this symbol of community and dedication is now under threat of destruction by the DREAL of Montpellier. Destroying such a valuable place, without even opening a proper dialogue with the people involved, would be a huge loss for the sporting and cultural heritage of the region.

We strongly believe that a constructive discussion could lead to a solution that would secure the future of this exceptional site. Its destruction would go against the very ecological and environmental principles supported by the DREAL, particularly regarding the protection and preservation of the fauna and flora present on the site.

The closure of the Pinard Trail would not simply mean the end of a riding spot. It would mean the disappearance of an invaluable place of cooperation, creativity and transmission between generations. The Pinard Trail is one of the last five remaining BMX trail spots of its kind in France. Its loss would not only weaken the national BMX scene, but also damage a local, cultural and sporting heritage that has stood the test of time.

We, the Pinard Trail collective, are calling for the immediate opening of a dialogue with the relevant authorities before any irreversible decision is made. We are also in contact with the local council and the CEN Occitanie, and we are willing to work together to find a sustainable solution that protects this site, which means so much to so many people.
