Nominate Derek Dicks For The 2026 California Governor Election

The Issue

I have always loved living in California, treasuring its abundant resources and diverse community. However, I have noted that our current state government can often leave much to be desired, notably in forest management, water management, and resident insurance. A great state like ours demands better, and I believe with a citizen-centered approach and stronger community leadership, we can bring about a remarkable positive change. As a Californian, this is not just politics for me; it's personal. The state of our cities and towns directly impacts our daily lives. That's why I am advocating for a gubernatorial candidate with a business-minded concept for the 2026 election.

Our state's management should focus more on what matters most to its citizens. According to a study by the Public Policy Institute of California, 53% of Californians deem water and drought as the most pressing environmental issue at hand. Meanwhile, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection reports that 5 of the 20 most destructive wildfires in the state's history happened within the last three years. We require a governor that acknowledges these dilemmas and prioritizes effective solutions.

Furthermore, the California Department of Insurance observed an increase in insurance rates and a decline in availability for many homeowners in high fire-risk areas. We need a governor who values the security of Californians in their homes and work towards better insurance opportunities for residents.

We stand together today hoping for a more attuned government, one that hears our personal opinions, feelings, and strives to deliver positive change. I believe that together, we can encourage a more engaged, proactive, and citizen-centric approach to the 2026 California Governor election. For our state, for our homes, for our future. Please sign this petition to support our cause. I need 7,000 signatures to run in the 2026 election. Your support is grately apreshiated.
