Admiral Franchetti is the leader the Navy needs! As our Naval service faces a hemorrhage of talent, now more than ever, we are in need of strong leaders with the right priorities. 

Too often senior military leaders “play it safe” when it comes to major decisions, so as not to upset members of Congress who approve our budget each year. Instead of walking on eggshells, we should be demanding radical change within our forces, standing firm for what is RIGHT instead of what is easy.

As the current lead for the Learning to Action Board, Admiral Francetti is on the right path to enact positive change and hold leaders accountable for their actions or inactions that are directly contributing to problems in our force. With more and more Sailors voting with their feet and choosing to the leave the service, we are not positioning ourselves for success in expected future conflicts. 

As an all volunteer force, we must retain the best and brightest, and to do so, we must put every effort into Quality of Service and Quality of Life for our Sailors. We will achieve this by engaging where necessary to ensure the best leaders are in place with the proper resources, including human capital.

Admiral Franchetti is the BEST candidate to lead our Naval force. She is the favored candidate among Sailors by far. What message will we send to our Sailors, our most valuable asset, if we do not take them into account? What message does it sent to our competition if we will simply bow to the whims of civilians instead of FIRMLY demanding what is right?
