Dear Nokia/HMD Global,

I open this petition because it is very essential to have the possibility to flash the original ROM in case of software bricks of your phone without forcly going in a Nokia repair facility for a simple software issue, especially for the time thing. With the old Nokia and Microsoft era, it was available (for Nokia and Microsoft Lumia still is) a Windows software that let users recover the phone in case of a serious software issue back to the original ROM. In addition, there are hundreds of posts on your official forum on which users post their problems getting the Android security patches for a specific single phone, while other users with the same commercial and technical model get all the Android patch. So, it would be very useful to have a software for getting back to the original ROM if there are serious software issues, and for apply a new firmware and/or a new Android security patch. For example, both the old Nokia 6 and the new 6.1 have this issue that don't find new security patches, even if these updates are present on your servers.
