Dear Residents of Castletroy, Annacotty, Monaleen and surrounding local areas,

Have you been effected by the noise levels of the M7 motorway? If so, we would appreciate if you could sign this petition which aims to highlight the need for Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) to introduce noise mitigating measures as a matter of urgency in the area. 

Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) commissioned a comprehensive study of the noise levels emitted from this section of motorway and concluded the noise levels are excessive and consequently pose a significant health risk to residents. This report has recommended mitigating measures which include road resurfacing and provision of sound barriers to reduce the health impact on those living in the locality. Implementation of these measures is supported by local councillors and LCCC and with your support, it is hoped that the TII will take immediate action to remedy this issue.
