Our NYC families worked hard for the right to work for employers that are committed to providing living wages and engage in employment practices that are fair to women and people of color.

A sustainable local economy provides the community with financial and social supports necessary for economic self-sufficiency. We simply do not buy the line that having a Wal-Mart in NYC will help our communities reach this goal.
