No Traffic Lights and lane expansions @ 5 Points Roundabout Iver Heath

The Issue

Part of the Project Pinewood expansion at Pinewood Studios, is for Pinewood to make changes to The Crooked Billet/5 Points Roundabout in Iver Heath. These changes would consist of the installaion of Traffic Lights and lane widening. "Signalisation of most movements on the roundabout, widening of sections of Uxbridge Road, Church Road and Wood Lane, priority controlled entry from A4007 Slough Road, and pedestrian crossing facilities on each entry and exit road to the junction to allow pedestrians to cross safely. A number of trees and vegetation will also be removed. The Five Points Roundabout application site is surrounded by woodland, urban elements and farmland. Vegetation in the vicinity of the roundabout includes amenity grassland with pine, oak, alder and birch of approximately 10 -15 years old."   These changes would only go towards slowing down traffic in an already congested area. These changes would also destroy the semi rural feel of the village. Iver Heath is a small Buckinghamshire village, not a large town. We the undersigned do not want these changes implemented, and The Crooked Billet/ 5 Points roundabout left as is.
