Now, this peace and tranquility of our culture are being threatened by the dubious plan of the self-proclaimed Sultan of Maguindanao, Engr. Macapado M. Benito to overthrow our beloved Sultan!

Sultan Salem is the pillar of our culture! Sultan Salem is our father! This is the time we FIGHT for our house, for our father, for our culture! WE FIGHT FOR SULTAN SALEM!

"Mga Kapamilya sa Maguindanao Sultanate: We are expressing our comments & sentiments about the considerably surreptitious entry/ encroachment with the dubious intents of Engr. Macapado Benito to be enthroned & proclaimed as the "new Sultan of Maguindanao" in Cotabato City on 19 Feb. 2023. The aspiration or desire of said subject-person, Engr. Benito to be enthroned/proclaimed as such - is very much glaringly malicious & unthinkable to dwell with the existing insurmountable facts surrounding the issue at hand. First & foremost it must be borne in mind that Engr. Benito do not or can not even satisfy the very basic requirement of our smallest unit in our society, the so-called Barangay Residency. Either as a resident citizen or citizen by birth in the said locality of Maguindanao, in order for him to qualify himself & claim as such as "new Sultan of Maguindanao". The very fact & truth of the matter is that in the particular case of Engr. Benito, he is known & verified to have been born & identified as a long time resident of Lanao Del Sur (LDS), with no known living-residency status (for a year or even less than a month for that matter) in any of the locality/barangay areas of the Province of Maguindanao. That even his father-direct ascendants as per books/records that I have researched/read relative their family clan genealogy, were not born in Maguindanao Province areas. Based on historical analysis, Engr. Macapado Benito's aspiration or claim to be the "new Sultan of Maguindanao" was traced to the position of his then ascendant-father, Sultan Pangadapun Benito who was once allegedly proclaimed as "Sultan of Maguindanao" although he was actually from LDS because the place or locality of LDS was then a Territorial part of Maguindanao at that time. Hence, now that LDS & Maguindanao are already distinct & separate localities/provinces, more so that there is already a well established & recognized existing Sultanate of Maguindanao with an enthroned Sultan in the person of HRH SULTAN ABDULAZIZ SALEM MASTURA KUDARAT V, the intent of Engr. Benito to aspire & claim for such Sultanate position is very much questionable & out of order. Mga Kapamilya, let us then all rally behind to put a STOP & protest in the highest order & degree against the self-styled Engr.
