The project at Lindsay and Germann has been a HUGE success because of this group of people who banded together and allowed our voices to be heard. As a result of our work over the last 7 months and the solid commitment of the developers (LGE- Creation LLC) we have come together and solved the major issues as a team. This project was officially approved by the planning committee last night and our changes have been accepted to go to the Gilbert City Council Nov. 15th.
Unfortunately, the developers of a new project are not so willing. This project details are below and we need your help!
Dear Gilbert Resident-
We need your help to stop a Major Zoning Amendment that will change 311 acres (larger than all of San Tan Mall) designated as Commercial/Business property to Industrial use. This property is directly adjacent to family homes. Developers plan on 65 ft tall buildings with over 950 truck bays to be used for manufacturing, shipping/distribution and other uses.
This is not what Gilbert residents voted on when ratifying Gilbert’s General Plan in August, 2020. This property is literally against the backyards of single family homes and apartments. Safety and traffic are major concerns.
