We, the undersign, would like to bring to your attention a matter of serious concern. We are Ramp agents in DEN station, and we are affected by the plan to convert current, women and men separated, Ramp level locker rooms to Co-ed format.
This brings several concerns and safety risks we would like to prevent by retaining current locker separation including but not limited to;
Lack of guaranteed privacy amongst sexes (Many agents change entire wardrobe before and after their work day)
Inability to prevent unknown recording or picture taking within the shared space
Lack of respect between agents personal space
Vulnerability to heightened safety concerns surrounding harassment and risk of assault.
Inability for agents to separate from their harassment perpetrators or accusers.
As of 8/3/2026, approximately 20% of ramp agents are female identifying, shrinking space between sexes increases risk of unwanted attention.
General lack of common space tidiness of shared spaces
Despite the understanding the company has hired beyond current locker room capacity, we believe there is a better solution to the issue that has arisen. We kindy request you look into the matter and find a better resolution.
Thank you
Sincerely DEN Ramp Agents
