The Issue

Justice for Steven Jarvis May 6, 2025, my beloved brother, Steven Jarvis, was brutally and premeditatedly murdered in his bed by Richie Harnamji. After stabbing him multiple times, Richie nonchalantly walked to the next room to work remotely and even stopped to have a casual conversation with an office staff member when attempting to get rid of evidence and the weapon—while Steven lay there dying. This was calculated, premeditated, monstrous, and pure evil. Steven’s children and grandchildren have now lost both their parents and grandparents. This crime has left an entire family shattered, and yet the man who did it has already been granted a $300,000 bond, reportedly reduced from an original $500,000. We are calling for full justice—no plea deal, and a full trial where our voices, especially victim impact statements, can be heard. My family deserves to speak. Steven deserves justice. CALL TO ACTION: Please help us contact officials in Harris County and demand real accountability. TELL THEM: No plea. No leniency. No silence. District Attorney Sean Teare Sean.Teare@dao.hctx.net 📞 713-274-5800 Texas State Legislators (Your State Representative & Senator) WHY: They can: Open constituent casework. Inquire with the DA or agencies for transparency. Consider proposing reforms if there's a pattern of problems. Let’s make sure Steven’s isn’t forgotten. #NoPlea #JusticeForStevenJarvis #holdthemaccountable #HarrisCountyWeAreWatching
