Why is the airport called "Frankfurt Hahn" when it's closer to Luxembourg?

Millions of people travel to these false-name airports every year:

• Barcelona Reus
• Brussels Charleroi
• Düsseldorf Weeze
• Frankfurt Hahn
• Milan Bergamo
• Munich West
• Oslo Torp
• Paris Beauvais
• Paris Vatry
• ...and so on!

It's time to address this problem of deception in air travel. These airports should have the names of the places they serve, i.e. "Beauvais Airport" or "Hahn Airport", instead of falsely implying a well-known city in the name.

This is not a matter of closing these airports, but of ensuring transparency and honesty in geographic designation. The European Union should implement a rule that if an airport is more than 1 hour away from a city, it should not be allowed to use the name of that city. The same goes for airlines like Ryanair, EasyJet, Wizz Air, etc.
