Canvas is just more confusing and harder to use than things previously used like Google Classroom.

Most Frisco ISD Students would agree that Google Classroom is more simple and easy to use than canvas. Frisco ISD Students have already been using Google Classroom for the past couple semesters and are familiar with how it works. The switch to Canvas was quite surprising considering how easy and great Google Classroom was in the past year.

Another troublesome part of Canvas is that it is not affiliated with Google like Google Classroom. This means that it is not as easy to visit things like Google Docs, Slides, and Spreadsheets directly off of Canvas. You cannot use your Google account on Canvas like you can on Google Classroom. Canvas requires you to have another account that is not google related. This just causes more of a inconvenience to students.

Lastly, Canvas has a less user friendly interface and color scheme. Google Classroom has brighter colors and a more simple social media layout that most students will easily be able to navigate and understand.
