No Means No: Ward 13 Deserves Better than Nicholas Saika Voivod
The Issue
London, Ontario deserves leaders who earn public trust, demonstrate sound judgment, and represent the entire community with respect.
Since Nicholas Saika-Voivod announced his candidacy for Ward 13 City Council, more than 17 individuals have shared their experiences with him, which include accounts of harassment, violence, and other inappropriate conduct. His own personal conduct has also raised serious concerns among London residents.
Public statements and online activity attributed to Nicholas Saika-Voivod have included misogynistic rhetoric, hostility toward marginalized communities, explicit substance use, and overall behaviour that many believe is incompatible with elected office. He has appeared confrontational, erratic, and lacking the professionalism expected of a city councillor.
Ontario's municipal elections have few barriers to entry. Almost anyone can run for office regardless of their background, making it the responsibility of voters to decide what standards their representatives should meet.
This petition is not about political disagreements. It is about judgment, accountability, and fitness for public office.
City councillors are entrusted with decisions that affect vulnerable residents, public services, and the future of our communities. Those seeking that responsibility should demonstrate respect, integrity, and sound judgment long before they place their names on a ballot.
No means no. Ward 13 does not have to accept conduct it would not otherwise tolerate from its elected officials.
Sign this petition if you believe Nicholas Saika-Voivod should withdraw his candidacy for City Councillor of London's Ward 13.
