Anti-mask groups such as “Mainers Against Mask Mandates”. Are planning No Masks grocery shopping days. They have migrated from Facebook to conduct their planning in secrecy.

Since Hannaford and Shaw have told employees NOT to enforce masks mandates, we demand they commit publicly to the enforcement of the Executive order from Governor Mills regarding mandatory face masks.

Furthermore, we demand professionally trained security guards be hired to ensure the safety of employees whose job description which do not include these tasks, nor do they receive hazard pay to do so. They still, however, live in fear every day of contracting the virus specifically from those who refuse to wear a mask.

We will not accept our lives being put at risk in the name of politics. We expect our grocery stores to agree and publicly state so in their words and actions.
