Thanks for signing our petition against the sell-off of land at Queen’s Park, Harborne. We’ve now collected 1161 signatures and will be presenting the petition at the City Council meeting later this month. We’re now working with the Friends of Queen’s Park and others on some really exciting proposals for community use of the site, based on successful projects in other Birmingham parks.

A key date in our campaign is the City Council Cabinet property committee on 23 September, when Council officers will be proposing to market the site. Please consider taking the time to email Cllr John Cotton, Leader of the Council, asking the committee to ‘pause’ the proposed sale to allow the Friends and other local groups to work up our community proposals:
