**Saturday, March 21, 2026** (from ~8:06 AM to 5:00 PM): Constant spikes up to 80+ dB, with frequent peaks in the 70s. This was a very active day with heavy flight school operations – loud, persistent, and disruptive.
**Sunday, March 22, 2026** (from ~2:25 PM to 3:47 PM): Noticeably quieter overall, with peaks mostly in the 50s-60s and fewer intense spikes.
These measurements were taken at a location after the planes turned. Homes directly **under the takeoff flight path near Zebulah's Trail and Belle Terre** experience noise levels **up to 20 decibels higher** – that's a huge difference in perceived loudness (every 10 dB feels roughly twice as loud)!
Despite the heavy flight school activity on Saturday, we don't see a matching surge in complaints for that specific day. Authorities (FAA, Flagler County, Palm Coast) are paying attention when we flood them with reports – they've responded to consistent pressure before, and more voices make change happen faster.
**What you can do right now:**
- File your noise complaints promptly via our dedicated link: peaceforpalm.com (look for "FILE A COMPLAINT" – it helps log them properly).
- Use a decibel meter app (like free "Decibel Meter") to document peaks during flyovers – share data with us at peaceforpalm@gmail.com.
- Sign/share our petition if you haven't: Demand mandatory noise abatement, no touch-and-goes over populated areas, and an end to this constant racket and lead pollution.
Your complaint counts – even on "quieter" days, building the record is key. We are compiling these complaints for our case against them. Together, we're pushing for quieter skies and healthier neighborhoods in Palm Coast/Flagler County!
Also, many thanks to our volunteers handing out flyers! We are now over 850 signatures! As Commissioner, Leann Pennington. dismissingly said at the county meeting, "not that many!" Let's get to 1000!
In solidarity,
The Peace for Palm Team
