Time is running out — we need your immediate help!

It’s been quiet in the skies and on the petition front due to the recent holiday and rainy weather, but our work continues steadily behind the scenes.  Despite this, our volunteers have continued working hard, but we’re still falling short on the momentum we need. We are very close to 1,000 signatures on the petition, but we must push past that mark now to show real community strength.

Our dedicated team is still out passing out flyers — thank you to every volunteer who has stepped up! However, we cannot slow down.

We  urgently need more resident complaints as critical evidence. It only takes a minute to submit one using the link on https://peaceforpalm.com/  . When you file, please include the specific section or street name where the noise is affecting you. You do not need to give your name or home address.

In the March County Commission meeting, Chairwoman Leann Pennington claimed there aren’t that many noise complaints about the airport (because they removed the noise complaint portal and won't log your calls), and the county attorney leaned on the FAA when asked about limiting noisy aviation businesses on airport property. Yet we have multiple letters from the FAA encouraging Flagler County — as the airport sponsor — to take responsibility of the health, safety and welfare of the residents and our community.

Those dismissals and denials were the final straws. Because our leaders continue to ignore our suffering, Anna Jones has filed to run for Flagler County Commission, District 4. Her campaign website is https://annaforflagler.com/.

Here’s the urgent part: To get on the ballot, Anna needs 968 verified signatures from Flagler County voters by May 10th — that’s only 30 days away!  Attached is the petition form.
