No Caricom in Haiti

No Caricom in Haiti
The Issue
Dear President Joe Biden, United States Congress, United States Senate, Caricom & all,
We, the Haitian Diaspora, say no, absolutely NO to Caricom's involvement in the current crisis in Haiti. The gang problem was created, funded, and supplied by the same members you are supporting for this transitional committee, the same political party of which members are implicated in the assassination plot, of our beloved President, Jovenel Moïse (may his soul rest in everlasting peace!
The people of Haiti at home and abroad have collectively decided Senator Guy Philippe as our president. Haiti needs peace, security, and stability, but most of all that our wishes be heard and respected. The people have decided that Senator Guy Philippe will transition our nation through the next electoral process of which the people trust will be fair and unbiased. The most important component is TRUST after decades of corruption and foreign interventions. We will decide our own destiny while demanding that our wishes be fully
respected.
Finally, the Haitian-American diaspora living in the United States is fully aware of the upcoming presidential elections to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
We will go to the polls, with Haiti on our hearts and in our minds, voting straight down the party line that we find to be more aligned with our wishes; that is to to keep foreign intervention out of Haiti.
NO TO CARICOM'S INVOLVEMENT IN HAITI!
Thank you!
