We, the Alice community, respectfully petition the court to deny bail to Xolani Gotyi and his co-accused who have been charged for the gruesome murder of Kungawo Nyweba-Maku.

What they did to Kungawo is serious violation of the law and human rights; and has caused  immeasurable harm to the victim,her loved ones and the community.Granting bail would undermine the public's trust in the justice system.

THEREFORE, we urge the court to exercise its discretion and deny bail to Xolani and his co-accused.

"Her lifeless Body was burnt beyond recognition.it is alleged that she was abducted by two women who beat her up before burning her lifeless body and  threw the remains (intestines) on the way to Gqeberha."
