Shut down NJ exotic pets

Shut down NJ exotic pets
The Issue
NJ exotic pets is a pet shop in northern New Jersey that neglects their animals. The store is extremely dirty and animals are not taken care of properly. Lizards and rabbits are cohabitating in small cages and other small animals are kept in little Tupperware containers. They seemingly have a parasite issue that is killing their animals. My friends and I went to look around the shop and ended up bringing home a surrendered rabbit, Coco Bain. A few days later her ear went down and we thought it was stress from moving into a new home but she had a seizure and dropped dead a few days later. Being an experienced rabbit owner I knew Coco was being taken care of properly after leaving the shop so we had no clue why she passed. We looked up NJ exotics and saw a ton of other reviews from people saying they bought a rabbit and it died a week later from parasites. Some of these people explained that they tried contacting the shop about this and they completely disregarded it saying “once the animals leave the shop it’s not our problem”. I started spamming them with comments and Coco Bain’s previous owner saw them and reached out to me. She explained that Coco was healthy when she was taken to the shop and she trusted the shop would take care of her. We want to have this shop shut down to prevent healthy animals from getting sick and eventually killed by their negligence.
