Petition to Adopt a Tree in Herbert Von King Park in Memory of Nixzmary Brown
We, the undersigned, respectfully request the New York City Parks Department to approve the adoption of an existing tree in Herbert Von King Park as a living memorial to Nixzmary Brown, whose life touched our community deeply.
This tree adoption will serve as a symbol of hope, remembrance, and commitment to protecting children and fostering a safer community. We ask that the Parks Department allow the installation of a memorial plaque or marker near the tree to honor Nixzmary’s memory.
Why this matters:
 • Nixzmary Brown’s tragic story highlights the urgent need for community awareness and child protection.
