Save Sultan Palace from Demolition

The Issue

Sultan Palace was built in the year of 1922 by Sir Sultan Ahmed on the Beer Chand Patel Marg in the heart of Patna, Bihar. This heritage building has the elements of Islamic architecture such as its two-domed pavilions on either side and the central high domed tower. For two years this architectural marvel has been serving as the headquarters for the Transport Department of the Bihar Government for several decades now. Unfortunatley, recently Bihar Cabinet approved the demolition of the palace for the construction of a five-star hotel.

The historical building can be easily reused as a heritage hotel. It is imperative to save this heritage site from demolition. The building is an important landmark in India's history and cultural architecture.

Let's collaborate and fight to protect India's architectural heritage!
