Super Paper Mario, a childhood game from the Wii, was and is one of my favorite games to have ever played. It had the classic jump-on-enemies feel to it as the regular Mario games, yet the fun twist of a brand-new game by Nintendo. Yes, you would attack and injure enemies by jumping on them, but now you had small allies to give you special abilities. You could use a hammer, become invincible when standing still, shrink down in size, search for invisible secrets, and more!

Furthermore, Super Paper Mario had a unique and intriguing story line. Instead of just fighting Bowser and his minions like most games, you were battling Count Bleck, a mysterious antagonist with an unknown backstory. As you played, you met new characters, new allies, and new adversaries. Mario teams up with Luigi, Peach, and even Bowser, with each person having a special ability. During the game, you get to play through a mixed storyline of cheerful characters and dark events, with an unexpected yet very satisfying ending.

Super Paper Mario is one of my favorite childhood games, and it may be one of yours, too. With amazing, one-of-a-kind features and an extremely immersive story line, this game is capable of keeping you entertained for hours on end. I truly hope that, with the help of Nintendo and everyone on this petition, we can make it possible to once again play this classic masterpiece on the Nintendo Switch.
