Princess Daisy made the cut for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch! This was amazing news for the thousands of Daisy fans out there! A huge step forward towards Daisy’s blooming career as an iconic Nintendo character. Masahiro Sakurai heard our voices, he heard our requests and decided to add Daisy to the roster! A heartfelt gratitude goes to Masahiro Sakurai from the entire Daisy Fanbase and even Super Mario fanbase!

Daisy has fans all over the globe, a lot of fans and the internet explosion of joy after her announcement can only confirm this fact. An other fact is that Daisy created a bigger hype than the two other newcomers (Inklings and Ridley) said to be apparently more popular and/ or wanted, fanarts of her get tons of likes and shares, her presentation video on the official Super Smash Bros channel on YouTube is even the most popular, more than for the 67 other fighters !

Super Smash Bros Ultimate told us an important new : that once a character becomes playable in Smash, this character stays in Smash no matter what happens. This is why Daisy will very very likely stay in the roster of future Smash games (if there are !)

We all know an other fact however. It is that, even if she got her own slot, her own unique and amazing design and personality, Daisy has been added as an Echo fighter, Peach’s Echo character so she shares Peach’s moveset with a few subtle differences. But we also are aware that given Daisy’s long history with her consistent appearances in Mario spinoff titles, especially in the Mario Sports games, we’ve been introduced to so many of Daisy’s cool undervalued abilities.

Abilities that include her signature Flower Power which gives her the ability to manipulate flowers use magical abilities involving flowers and other plant-like properties to use to her advantage. She also has Crystal Manipulation that was seen exclusively in the Mario Strikers series. Daisy has even been shown to have new abilities that included magically creating platforms as seen in Mario Tennis Aces. She could even use elements or items from Super Mario Land, the game she originated from!

This is why we ask Mr. Sakurai to give Daisy a more unique moveset in the next installment. We considered that Daisy’s introduction in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was a test to see how fans would initially react despite the fact she possessed a huge following! Witnessing how the internet exploded over her reveal during the E3 Nintendo Direct, the test could be considered as a bright success! Masahiro Sakurai, there is so much potential that could be done with Daisy instead of just being a clone of Princess Peach!

Mr. Sakurai, we will help to give ideas of how Daisy’s moveset could become more unique and more Daisy. We don’t want people to think that Daisy already being in Smash doesn’t satisfy us, it does of course and you can't know how much, but while giving more uniqueness to Daisy, she could appeal to the Super Smash Brothers fandom in a much bigger way and it will be nothing but beneficial for everyone, we Daisy fans will have “our own Daisy” and princess Peach won’t risk to get overshadowed! And we are pretty certain that you already considered to give Daisy her own moveset as it happened with several other characters, like Luigi who started his Smash carrier as a Mario clone. Please, Make Daisy Unique In the Next Smash!
