Mario Kart Double Dash is one of the most memorable installments in the franchise, not only for its unique two drivers mechanic but for how fun and chaotic the multiplayer was. Hardly a second would go by without a Bowser Shell or a Chain Chomp flying at you, and this disarray made this game such a unique experience.

The Nintendo Switch would be the perfect system to house the game on, because of its multiplayer ease. LAN Mode should remain intact, and I think a new online multiplayer would be a great addition to the game. 

The game should receive a fresh coat of polish, 4 new throwback cups, and possibly new racers and 12 karts in a race. The online multiplayer should not be CO-OP (Obviously). This would introduce a new generation of players to this very unique experience.
