Many avid terraformers, including myself, and players in general have found the fact that the very important “Resident Services” (Animal Crossing: New Horizons) cannot be moved.

I feel as though allowing players to move Resident Services will make island customization far easier, and frankly, more enjoyable.

On a personal note, so far I’ve restarted 3 islands due to the location of Resident Services. Having to work around it can be difficult, especially considering the theme/aesthetic players are going for.

Overall, I believe this will help the Animal Crossing community to further express themselves and their creativity through their islands if moving Resident Services became an option. 

I am a younger player, who’s been a committed fan of the Animal Crossing series since “Animal Crossing: City Folk”, and although moving the town hall wasn’t a feature in previous games, I think that because moving the shop, the campsite, the museum, Able Sisters, villager and player homes, are an option, that relocating Resident Services should also be on the list of possibilities.

As much as I love Animal Crossing: New Horizons, I find terraforming my island is more stressful when I have to take into account so many more factors including the location of Resident Services, the color of the airport, the openings of the rivers, and more. Maybe that’s just because I’m a perfectionist, though either way, I’ve talked to a lot of other people who feel the same way.

I believe I speak for all Animal Crossing: New Horizons players when I say “Thank You” Nintendo, for creating such an immersive and relaxing world for us to play in, and enjoy.
