For years, Spyro has been overshadowed by other games like Banjo and Kazooie or Crash Bandicoot. But why? Spyro could much more easily be added to smash, and it would make a lot of people happier.

He has a simple graphic design for the most part, by far not the hardest character to animate. Also, the reignited trilogy was released not all that long ago, making more people hyped about him, and what better way to appease the crowd than to give them what they want?

Furthermore, at the time that I am writing this, Banjo and Kazooie is the second to last DLC released, which means that now would be the best time to add, or to announce adding him to smash.

As far as his move set, that should not be to difficult. He obviously has his fire breath to be his neutral B, he has his combos from the normal Spyro games to be his combo attacks, his final smash could be one of his furries or a variation of his hold x attack thing from the Legend of Spyro trilogy, he has wings for a decent recovery, a dash attack, horn dive, among many other things from the various Spyro games from the past.

The only real question is, why shouldn’t you add him to Smash? If you have other characters planned, then that is understandable, but I’d really love to see him added to Smash in the near future.
